When it comes a brand of vacuum cleaner or also known as a robot for cleaning up our house, as your mind can think that it seems like Roomba is one of the best among other brands on the market. Between Roomba 860 and Roomba 880 are two models of Roomba brand that often being compared by some people for making them know where the differences or similarities are taken place. In order to do the same way, we make this review: Roomba 860 vs 880.
If yesterday we made a Roomba 860 vs 960 with 900 series as a competitor, differently with today, you can just read that. We will just mention the pros of this vacuum cleaner since you already saw the features on the current link like AeroForce™ Performance Cleaning System, Tangle Free Brushless Debris Extractors, Lithium Ion Battery, an automatic Recharge Between cleanings, and Virtual Wall. You will be surprised that iRobot Roomba 860 included such great battery tech in a mid-range priced bot. Like the other models of 880 or 980, this is another big step up from earlier models. One of the big problems of having a Roomba is having to untangle long hair from the brushes even once a month, you will have no more tangles with this Roomba 860. It has more power than most other earlier models too which means pretty much the same thing as the 880 minus the lighthouse. This is also the best priced Roomba that iRobot has released. It’s not the absolute cheapest, but you will definitely get the most bang for your buck with the 860.
The iRobot Roomba 880 is the newest model in the manufacturer’s series of Roomba robotic vacuums before the current one, Roomba 860. Roomba 880 can clear everything that disturb you such as medium-sized cereal pieces, long and wavy human hair, soft pet hair, breadcrumbs, kitty litter, flour, and papery garlic skins. By this robot, you can quickly and easily move the machine to another room with a quick lift on its handle and it also weighs less than 9 pounds. So that it is easy for almost anyone to transport it too. It has a side spinning brushes which can be effective at pushing debris into the path of the robot so its center flexible brush could push it farther back to be sucked up and deposited into its bin. The Roomba 880 can be handled by a remote control which can make it easy to set the schedule without touching the body of the robot at all. Also, you can use the remote to direct your Roomba 880 to clean at a specific moment.

If you would choose between the 860 and 880, we would recommend you with the 860 simply reason just because of the price difference. It seems like you can not justify spending more than $100 more for a product that only has more accessories included the machine. Moreover, the remote control is a nice to have luxury but you can also do the scheduling directly on the robot.
